Every body of work is a Project.

No stray documents. No "where did I put that draft?" Each Project gets a dedicated Workspace, Calendar, Source Library, and Team — together from idea to publish.

The problem

Why this matters

Most content tools start with a blank page. The blank page is the worst possible place to start — it forgets what you wrote yesterday, hides your research in a separate tab, and forces you to re-establish context every time. By the time you have an idea, you have already lost it.

How it works

Four steps, no friction.

  1. 1

    Create a Project

A blog, a newsletter, a book, a social series, a research report. Pick a type, give it a name. The Workspace, Calendar, Source Library, and Team come bundled.

  2. 2

    Plan the calendar

Every Project opens to a Calendar. Drop topics onto the days you want to write them. Drag to re-plan. The Calendar is the spine of the Project.

  3. 3

    Open a Topic

Tap any day to open its Topic. The editor, source panel, AI agents, and publishing queue all live one tap away — never a context switch.

  4. 4

    Publish and measure

When the Topic is ready, publish to every connected channel from one queue. Analytics roll back into the Project so you can see what worked.

Deep dive 1

A Project is a container, not a folder.

The problem. Folders force you to think about hierarchy before you have anything to organise.

The Contents Lab way. A Project is a workspace. It comes with its own Calendar, Source Library, AI agents, and publishing queue already wired together. You think about the work, not the scaffolding.

  • Switch Projects in one tap from the sidebar or the mobile tab bar
  • Every Project has its own URL — share it with collaborators like a Slack channel
  • Archive a Project to take it off your dashboard without losing any data
Deep dive 2

Calendars that survive the week.

The problem. When life happens, content calendars are usually the first thing to slip.

The Contents Lab way. Drag a Topic to a new day and the Calendar keeps the rest of the week in view. The Calendar does not punish you for re-planning.

  • Day, week, and month views — same UX on mobile and desktop
  • See every Topic in flight at a glance, colour-coded by status
  • Calendar days can hold notes, links, and ideas — not just scheduled Topics
Deep dive 3

Collaborators scoped to the Project.

The problem. Sharing an entire workspace just to add a guest writer is overkill.

The Contents Lab way. Invite a collaborator to one Project only. They see what they need to see, nothing more. Change their role from reviewer to editor in one tap.

  • Four roles: owner, editor, reviewer, viewer
  • Per-Project invitation links with expiry and revocation
  • Audit log records every collaborative action
